Ethers Edge is a post progressive rock band from the UK. The music is influenced by groups such as Tool, Porcupine Tree and Opeth, although the comparisons that have been drawn cover a multitude of other great bands and musicians.
The debut album “Return To Type” is now complete after over a year of what turned out to be a fantastic journey through exciting new music and meetings with some amazing people. A journey that will never be forgotten!
To start with a few small ideas and get encouragement and positive comments from so many people constantly drove the music forward. Each time a few notes came together, another sonic landscape began to unfold until the album started to take the shape that it is now in - a complete album and not just a random collection of tracks.

Sounds like older PT, which is not surprising because its made by another self-taught multi-instrumentalist doing everything solo just as SW did. Now you can only hope Ethers Edge has the same luck as SW did...
