In the summer of 2004 at school, Ross and Muffin approached Rowan suggesting they form a band. Ross took up guitar, Muffin took up bass and Rowan sang a bit. They wanted Rowan to play keyboard but he convinced them that wouldn’t work. In a recording session at Muffin’s house, Ross and Rowan recorded an improvised 25 second song (Love a Dog) and were chuffed to bits.

A long time passed, they forgot about the band until they found that little .WAV file. That kick started them. They went back to Muffin’s house and recorded a couple of new songs. La La Love a song about Santa. Unfortunately, Muffin didn’t send anybody the recordings in time before his computer bust so these songs will never be heard.

After that event, Ross and Rowan decided to try out some new recording equipment and in the space of a few weeks, had recorded a decent amount of songs. Muffin wasn’t invloved that much, making his excuses why he couldn’t make recording sessions.

They shared their music online with our MySpace and found people seemed to like it! So they kept up with recordings at a fairly consistant level, playing in Rowan’s conservatory.

As if his limited musical talent and poor attitude wasn’t bad enough, Muffin shocked them when they found out he had started taking drugs! They didn’t need much more convincing that his poor input into the band did not warrant him a position. He was out!
