There's a yellow rose in Texas that I'm gonna see
Nobody else could miss her not half as much as me
She cried so when I left her, it'd like to broke my heart
And if I'd ever find her, we never more will part

This tune is nearly the National Anthem of The Lone Star State. The Yellow Rose was a mulatto female who was keeping Santa Anna company in his tent as a diversion while The Texas Army advanced at San Jacinto and defeated the Mexican dictators invading forces. That's how Texas won its fight for Independence, boys and girls. We thank a Mexican lady of the evening for giving her "best" to the cause. Yessir.

I see myself singing this song, as I used to be, two front teeth missing as along haired tomboy girl, riding down the hill on my two wheeler with its breaks missing, brings back fun memories, thanks.
