Absolutely my favorite composition--and I'm privileged to have been able to actually perform this piece as well. Eric Whitacre is beyond brilliant.

This piece is one of the greatest modern band compositions ever. The clarinet and euphonium solos are absolutely amazing. Another fun song by Eric Whitacre is "Godzilla Eats Las Vegas". It is not as expressive but it's a unique band composition, and is exactly what one would think it sounds like.

Erinnert mich irgendwie an Filmmusik. Ein bisschen wie Herr der Ringe. Aber trotzdem toll.

Now that's what I call proper music - an entirley different sound to the electronically generated sound of so much ambient music now!
