Eric Crugnale is a New York-based singer/songwriter/guitarist/music maker. He can do other stuff too, but that’s really not interesting enough to talk about. After a few near hits and misses with his band, The Rockefellers, he decided to take a few years off from the music biz, but always knew he’d be back someday. He first reappeared as guitarist in close friend Andrew Fortier’s live band. His triumphant return to songwriting/performing is marked by the critcally acclaimed album, “Carol Was Here”, produced by Kevin Bents. The album has been earning rave reviews and has been creating quite a buzz in the Power Pop universe. In addition to Eric’s guitar work and vocals and Kevin Bents keyboards and bass, the album features top NY musicians Rich Pagano (Fab Faux) on drums, Louis Schwadron (Rufus Wainwright) on French Horn. The album has been listed in several “Best Albums of 2010” lists.
