There's not much to say about this... It's simply not comparable to any other hip hop album. Easily the greatest hip hop album of all-time.

Calling yourself a hip-hop fan and not knowing this album is like to calling yourself a Christian and not knowing the bible [3]

Dope lyrics and a couple of nice beats. I find his solo work more listenable if a little samey.

The stuff that hasn't aged well here is charming and vintage. The stuff that has aged well here has aged really, really well.

I used to think this was boring, but then I got Eric B and Rakims later, slightly more modern sounding albums, then worked back to Follow the Leader, then listened again and was quite impressed. The key is to focus on the lyrics and flows in my opinion

I don't normally listen to rap, but when I do, I dig Rakim. Stay Thirsty my friends.

RA's flow puts me in a trance man, some of my all time favorite shit. I know you got soul has one of the sickest flows I've ever heard.

No Album Had A Bigger Impact On Hip Hop Than This One, even though in my opinion quality wise follow the leader is slightly better
