This one is truly an enjoyable album but... For me Paid in Full is Paid in Full.

I wouldn't go as far as to say that Paid In Full hasn't aged well, but I do think I prefer this album.

Some of the greatest lyrics by any rapper EVER. And the beats are so astoundingly original they still sound fresh 23 years later. Follow The Leader, Musical Massacre, Lyrics of Fury, Microphone Fiend and The R are incredible. Love it.

I personally like Paid in Full more because that one has more classics. In this one only the first three songs are essential must-hears IMO whereas in Paid in Full there is I Ain't No Joke, My Melody, I Know You Got Soul, Paid in Full & Eric B. is President - all must-be-heard before dying hip hop tracks. All of the songs in this album are nice, but not enough that are full time classics for me. Still the album is a classic, just not better than PIF, is all I am saying.

Rakim fuckin kills everyone and everything with the first three tracks, every single line is a bomb, pure fire!
