Equinox, the Peacekeeper is the moniker of Wouter Buyst, born in Belgium, often residing elsewhere. Travels in and outside the mind all had their effect on the music, containing a mixture of acoustic, electric, psychedelic, soothing and melancholic elements. Instruments such as acoustic/electric guitar, double bass, glockenspiel, banjo, harmonium, drums and sampling give the whole an organic and eclectic feel. The poetic lyrics remind of Leonard Cohen and Bob Dylan.

The first album with full band, “We Could Wake Each Other Up”, was released in 2010.
The second album “Birdsongs on the Waste Land” saw the light in 2013.

Currently Equinox, the Peacekeeper is touring in Belgium, Holland and the UK. Check here for dates http://www.equinoxthepeacekeeper.be/
