Biography

North Carolina, United States

Epta Astera is a band from North Carolina most noted for its use of the glockenspiel and melismatic vocal harmony.

In 2009 SALIGIA was released, an eclectic set of seven symphonic-industrial songs, one for each of the seven deadly sins. In 2013 Semper Reformanda was released, consisting of five songs after the five solas of Reformation doctrine. The new album eschewed the symphonic element and featured instead a flavor.

In the spirit of free culture, every work is available for free download on their website www.eptaastera.com, and source tracks are available upon request for remixing (or amusement, or whatever else).

I love how no one thinks that Christian inspired can amount to anything creative. Good thing that didn't stop anyone from reading Lord of the Rings.

Quite a terrible production, I have to say; Guitars sound bad in the mix. It could have been good though, it's a nice idea... not really well executed.

Listened to you guys today. Very interesting. I liked "Superbia" quite a lot, quite a lot indeed. It kept me interested the entire way through the track. Really awesome breakdown with the talking in the background.

Christian concept is always disgusting, but nice moments here.

Never thought I'd say this about a christian-influenced US project, but great work!
