Epic26 are an electro pop band from Edinburgh in the vein of Friendly Fires, White Lies & MGMT. Who are winning one fan at a time, playing energetic live shows in traditional (King Tuts, Cab Vol, Barrowlands) and not so traditional (Prison, a kitchen, shop window) venues round the country.

“Epic26 just get better and better. Not afraid of the synth, they mold great rock harmonies and rhythms with the kind of bleeps and bloops that will get larks singing along…Epic by name. Epic by nature. A band that deserves to be massive…” Rick Fulton,The Daily Record

Epic26 have played with great bands such as Fenech Soler, Hockey, Chew Lips, MAY68, Mercury Music Prize nominees The Invisible & Glasvegas; using a combination of pop hooks, indie guitars and synth sounds their music is immediately accessible to new fans.

“The enthusiasm these lads inject into their stage show is utterly infectious and we’re certain you’re going to be seeing/hearing a lot more of Epic26 in the future.”- Promoter, Limbo @ The Voodoo Rooms, Edinburgh.

“This band have crept under the radar and suddenly Epic26 are in pole position as one of the new Scots bands to watch…a rock swagger and looks NME would burst a pluke to, they have the ingredients to make you call them your new favourite band…Think Jarvis Cocker if he’d listened to rock rather than read books. It has the groove of Blondie with synths from Hazel O’Connor’s Breaking Glass. And Stuck In Time’s psychobilly stomp with lyrics like “he plays to groupies” is the tune Babyshambles always threatened to play”
