Biography

Ephraim Wegner started his career as DJ of electronic music, but shifts in the nineties to composing his own pieces of music and developing digital and electronic music control systems. Here his main focus is concentrated on controlling the electronics directly - by visitors of interactive installations or by working together with other musicians. Another important focus in working with electronic music is the quality of the sound itself, from which oscillations result different sound characteristics. Already existing, recorded noises and sound processes play a decisive role - for deconstruction as well as for simulation.
