That outro is one of the best parts of any death metal song ever recorded. It probably should have been the closing track cause it almost makes the rest of the album feel underwhelming in comparison.

A death metal album to be incorporated into the music history as a whole. There's no weak moment here... Inspired as hell.

Nah. Clandestine is still mostly good but they were starting to turn into a Rock band and simplify their sound even then. Fortunately it was still a fresh approach on that album but it was the incorporation of elements that eventually killed the band.

one of the rarest albums that got 98 percent average from 16 reviewers in metal archives site , a true classic https://www.metal-archives.com/albums/Entombed/Left_Hand_Path/796

Their only true and worthwhile death metal release. They should have disbanded after this and spare us the drama that followed in their embarrassing "death 'n' roll" career.

Awesome record! The first death metal I got and heard back in the day. Bought it based on a description of its sound, and was totally blown away at first listen. Only thing I think is bad with this album is how side A is miles better than side B. The tracks after Bitter Loss are all a bit filler in comparison to the earlier tracks.

This is the only Entombed album worth it's salt, and the only reason they are still mentioned alongside Dismember, Grave, Unleashed etc as a pioneer of the old school Swedish sound. Every album after this is Pantera-esque death n roll, which is cheesy as balls.

I also didn't get that album at first but after a few years suddenly most of the songs unfold and now it may even be my favourite album of what I have of them. Abnormally Deceased, Left Hand Path, Morbid Devourment and Bitter Loss are my favourite songs there. Clandestine and Wolverine Blues aren't far behind. All great stuff. Maybe it's time for checking out another album of them. Soon.

THE death metal album. It don't understand how anyone could not like this if you're into extreme metal. But I guess everyone is different.
