  • I shall play Coral Castle, when I visit Coral Castle soon :)
  • Love Unlimited just gets better and better
  • Alpha Waves is kinda sadcore.
  • Кто бы что ни говорил, но очень цепляющие мелодии с не совсем спастичным ритмом делают свое дело, и звучат Enemies очень даже хорошо.
  • Just listened to "Indian Summer". Sounds like ASIWYFA and Super Tennis had a baby and its name is Enemies

  • They are indeed a treat live. I don't know how they go about replacing Oisin, though. Fantastic drummer: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jQpYKvR2umU
  • Here's some oddball math rock for fans of Enemies and Rush http://hankband.bandcamp.com/releases
  • mathdronenoise: Just saw them live, too. Everything you said is on point. So uplifting live. Made my night. Go see these dudes.
  • Caught these guys live the other night and they just blew my mind! I don't think they play any of their early stuff anymore though ('08-'09); something from Alpha Waves would've been nice. But all in all an incredible performance! What's so great about this band is how they can effectively deliver uplifting melodies without copping out on precision. They have a knack for building up thematic song structures that are subtly embellished with intricate licks--even the vocals in Embark, Embrace are strategically timed. They can arrest your senses by technique and pleasure, which is more than you can say for a lot of highly proficient bands out there. And they're very nice guys too, it's crazy!! Easily makes them my favorite instrumental band in recent history.
