Formed in Illinois, USA in 1997. Empyrean Sky makes a very interesting, unique brand of music they label "stormcore". While in a true progressive death metal style, Empyrean Sky is more similar to Disillusion than Opeth. The next release will probably be really far in the other direction. Very old school and back to basics.

  • Well, after first listening... "The Snow White..." feels more 'symphonic' without being real symphonic and "Extending..." is more right into the face. ...but that's after first listening. ;)
