Emir Aksoy was born in Antalya who is now living in İstanbul.
He is a musician who wants to try different genres always both in singing and playing. He is mostly working with his band Emir Bey on soft and acoustic music, but he also works in different genres with different groups (choirs, orchestars). He likes to compose more interesting stuff like soundtracks or just experimental pieces. He is working on his extra-ordinary musical pieces since 1999 generally with the help of Orçun Sercan and Emir Yargın and sometimes alone.
