“Old Time’s Sake” is a song by American hip hop musician Eminem, due to be featured on his 2009 sixth studio album Relapse. “Old Time’s Sake” was the third single officially released from Relapse, after “We Made You” and “3 A.M.”, on May 5, 2009. The song features Dr. Dre, who also produced the song. It was leaked online the day before its official release on iTunes.
News of the song’s future release was first published on the official Eminem site on April 30, revealing details of another Relapse single due for release before the album – “Beautiful” on May 12. In revealing the news of the song’s leak on May 4, MTV summarised “Old Time’s Sake” as “featuring […] a party vibe”. The article went on to describe that “the record has the familiar West Coast bounce, and the Doc himself leads it off with a simple sing-songy flow”, as well as adult content.” It is currently unknown whether a music video will be produced and released for the song.
So far the song reached #2 on the US and Canadian iTunes charts.
