Beautiful is the fourth official single by American rapper Eminem from his fifth studio album Relapse. It was released on May 12 on iTunes available for digital downloads. “Beautiful” entered the UK Singles Chart on May 17, 2009 at #38. Also in the U.S. it made a “Hot Shot Debut” at #17 on the Billboard Hot 100. It samples the Queen song “Reaching Out” sung by Paul Rogers.

According to the Beautiful Songfacts, this song concerns Eminem’s struggles with drug addiction.

The song has been received very positively. Rolling Stone called it a “touching attempt at an inspirational ballad”. Pitchfork Media claim that “Relapse hits something of a stride with ‘Beautiful’”.
