Originally conceived of as a vehicle for his ambient guitar and loop work, Isabel’s Dream is the brainchild of Toronto- based musician Michael Ulrich. Beginning in 1997 as a series of experiments involving his cassette four-track and home computer, the project grdually took on a life of its own; soon programmed beats began to surface from beneath the steady wash of guitar.
Saddleback is primarily the work of Tony Dupé, who plays piano, pump organ, guitar, drums and clarinets; constructing loops from small musical sounds. On record, he has been joined by Peter Hollo on cello and Penny McBride on trumpet.

Medium 21 were a rock band from Northampton, England. Members Jon Clough, Drew Kent and Paul Thornton met whilst studying at Northampton College back in 1999. The original three-piece were later joined by Craig Brown to add extra depth on guitars, keyboards and vocals.
