Brain Salad Surgery is the fourth studio album by progressive rock band Emerson, Lake & Palmer, released in 1973 and the first under their Manticore Records imprint. Here new comment on 2016, "Toccata" is as insane as it is groovy and the 29-minute long epic is out of this world.[2] This album is great, teh second best from ELP after the debut album.

Hey, what's this, no love has been given in 2015 yet? This album kicks so much ass and is one of the best albums of its genre. "Jerusalem" is one of those songs which I wish to be much, much longer. What a fantastic and stunning short piece of music. "Toccata" is as insane as it is groovy and the 29-minute long epic is out of this world.

I love this album, but why does no one point out how amazing the cover is? It's on a level with the songs. It's like something you'd put out for Halloween, but it's tasteful. I wanna put that thing near a box of candy with a sign saying, "Yeah, go ahead. Take more than one. You're just dying to be like her." Or hang it by the door, scare off burglars. On a serious note, this album and it's cover are both forces of awesome.
