1) Embrace are a 5 piece band from Brighouse, West Yorkshire, in England who released their fifth studio album “This New Day” on the 27th of March 2006. They were also chosen to record the official England World Cup song. The band consist of brothers singer Danny McNamara and guitarist Richard McNamara, bassist Steve Firth, keyboardist Mickey Dale, and drummer Mike Heaton. The band have had 6 top ten hits in the UK, plus 3 number one albums.

Embrace have released five studio albums, “The Good Will Out” (8th June 1998), “Drawn From Memory” (27th March 2000), “If You’ve Never Been” (3rd September 2001), “Out of Nothing” (13th September 2004) and most recently, “This New Day” (27th March 2006). They have also released two compilation albums: one of singles, “Fireworks” (25th March 2002) and one of B-sides, “Dry Kids” (31st October 2005).
