    I miss this kind of songs among today's small and medium-sized bands.: a recognizable and charismatic voice, a little story told by the lyrics where you gotta love each line, orchestrated instrumentalization, catchy music, some eccentricity in style.

    @ZeppelinHero123 - It's called oppression. When EJ was first popular, it was still widely considered deviant to be homosexual. The revolution was brewing, but acceptance was no where near the level it is today. Furthermore, even today, a gay man couldn't sing openly to another man and have the song achieve popularity.
