“Now here’s an album! Art punk, no wave, noise, indie rock and hardcore mash together to create an unself-conscious mix of Dischord Records, Blood Brothers, Antioch Arrow, Unwound… “Any Land But This” is like an archivists journal of basement shows and homegrown revolution. This outfit seems to hold an innate understanding of the immense importance of localized action to produce legitimate, iconoclastic punk rock.
