The acoustic guitar textures in this mixed with the electronica has such a great feel. I know Ellie isn't the only artist to combine these textures, but this is definitely a unique sound. I wish she carried on with this kind of stuff but at least Delirium has partially rebounded into this territory.
Only thing I hate about this song is when she says "feel (the same)" and it's so high pitched I imagine the sound just goes straight through me, and probably through the walls behind me too, until it's outside, and then I imagine somewhere in the distance a cat on the streets stops in it's tracks as Ellie's voice hits it suddenly like a stick hitting someone's head, and it's fur stands up, and it gets scared. And then a kid with an ice cream stares at the cat like it's something out of a cartoon. He drops his ice cream. And screams. Moral of the story= don't listen to this song if you're tired and have a headache.
