Born and Raised on Chicago’s south side, 20 year-old Austin Davis (‘Elite’ or Elitenment) has been a musician from the age of 5. Beginning as a classic pianist he studied under his private instructor, Mrs. Watts, for years. Eventually He picked up the alto saxophone as well as just a 4th grader in the St. Thomas More elementary school band. After Marching for st. Rita and taking home a few gold metals in solo contests he continued his heavy pursuit in music as an alto saxophone in ALL of Br. Rice High School’s available bands: Concert Band, Symphonic Band, Jazz Band, & Marching Band. Having dabbled in digital production in prior years, as a senior he finally emerged into the Digital Industry with his fellow colleague Kirklinn Fowlkes of SouLife Productions. During the Summer of 2009 Austin and Kirklinn completed the full length album, “EGOtrippin’” with all original productions, totaling 21 tracks. It was the first finished feature length, published production for the Duo.
Austin & Kirklinn began piano lessons with the same instructor. As Kirklinn quickly advanced into a piano prodigy Austin continued to progress with him.
