ElectroCelt is Geoffrey Keogh from Dublin, Ireland. His debut album “Digital Fields” is causing a lot of buzz in the UK. ElectroCelt’s music is a unique combination of dreamy atmospheric textures with pure analogue electronic rhythms and sequences, combining the feel of modern electronica and ambient music with vocals and acoustic guitar. Melody is essential, but most importantly is the emotional connection with the listener.

Music always stirred up very deep images for Geoff all through his youth. After playing some piano, keyboard, and trying out new software, his interests in electronic music grew even more. Geoff was influenced by electronic musical artists like Jerome Froese, Klaus Schulze, Johannes Schmoelling, Pink Floyd, Ron Boots, Tangerine Dream, Kraftwerk, and other experimental artists.

Geoff went on to do electronic music production in the Dublin Temple bar sound center. This introduced him to Reason cubase sound forge programs, which opened up a lot more avenues, along with the help of friends with similar interests ( Conrad Gibbons, Chris Newman, Rosie Gibbons, David Fox, Tara Woolridge, and her brother Fon Woolridge). With Tara and Fon, Geoff started to take on learning the guitar, and trying to merge electronics and acoustics, working and composing at his home studio.
