"Having watched the first man walk on the moon from the black and white TV screen, it changed my perspective, it actually gave me the energy to focus in on things that were out of the box." - In 2015, Sarah Brightman will travel to the International Space Station, a dream that she has had since childhood, when mankind took its first steps on the moon. Brightman takes a closer look at her own relationship with the universe on her new album, Dreamchaser, through a few wistful originals and playful covers by Sigur Rós, Wings, Elbow and Cocteau Twins. Alongside her otherworldly plans, we ask the vivacious soprano how she spends a typical day on Planet Earth: http://www.songfacts.com/blog/interviews/sarah_brightman/

You know what? I'm not good at english, but i'll try to say this. Why every band's page have comment of someone who say that "this band" is shit or smth? There are thousands bands and even if All of them would be really good, we can't love and understand them all. If I don't like a certain music, I simply don't listen to it, not communicate with its fans and don't yell on every corner "how bad is everything that i don't like". There are SO many people from different countries with different lives, and all of us here, because we all Love Elbow! or..some other band too. Because we love music itself! When I hear that the stranger speaks about how much some band means to him and i also love it, I am ready to call him my friend because I understand him. there is something similar in our souls. it's pure magic. when I see again any crappy comment of the person angered on all things in the world, it seems to me that he never really loved any song, never really felt it. sorry for grammar.

What's the point of any band? Your band list looks like you choose the music depending on whether your mother heard of them or not. (3)

The Night Will Always Win was used in the intro to the latest Call of Duty. When I played it this weekend I thought my computer magically started playing my tunes... it took me a few seconds to realize it was coming from the game. I think the song fit perfectly in opening scene as it really set the tone for it. At first I was thinking Elbow in COD?!? That's an outrage! But by the end of it... I was thrilled. You can see the intro here (scene starts at 0:20).

I really loved the early albums. The last couple have been quite a departure, and their current sound/style really doesn't do it for me very much.
