While this album is a let-down in comparison to the debut, it's definitely not a complete waste of time as it has two good points: 1) the collaborations with mark e smith and 2) the fact it confirms for us fans that there really would be no point in Elastica still being active. Some bands come and go, and Elastica are one of them- here's to them and their era.

listening to this one for the first time in a long time: not a patch on the debut album, but much better than i had remembered!

I really like this album. Sure, there are one or two awkward tracks, but I was dreading listening to it because of all the bad reviews, and I’ve got say I was really pleasantly surprised!
