I did expect this to be much more industrial / noise, since this is the first neubauten album I'm listening to. a positive surprise so far.

I get a strange feeling from listening to Alles Wieder Offen. It feels very "offen" but nonetheless I can't shake the feeling of an ending, as if this record was meant as their last album. Many songs feel quite retrospective (Von Wegen, Susej), while the last track "Ich Warte" concludes everything they've done but leaves an openness, something undone. Still waiting. An open end I must say.

Enjoyed this. Well crafted. Definitely not as experimental as I had expected, but still very far from any mainstream sound. What fmaratz says fits: "mature yet groundbreaking".
