“eFU” is a Hungarian electronic-folk-ethno band founded in 2008 by Balazs Dongo Szokolay, Csaba Hajnoczy and Peter ‘Parizs’ Kondor.
Balazs Dongo Szokolay is one of the most outstanding reed-instrument and flute players in the Hungarian folk music scene.
Dongo gave birth to an unorthodox idea: he wants to combine this ancient, basic, raw and elementary dance music style with the extatic experience of modern electronic sound. He asked his former Kampec Dolores collaborator, Csaba Hajnoczy to join in. Hajnoczy is a guitar player, composer, electronic experimentor, deeply involved in folk styles too. The third member of the formation is Peter Kondor aka Parizs, who is responsible for the electronic grooves in many Hungarian formations.
