Biography
The two main members are vocalist Sonya Aurora Madan and guitarist Glenn Johansson. They briefly peaked during the Britpop craze of the mid-1990s with 2 UK Top 10 albums, 1994’s Everyone’s Got One and 1995’s On.
Other albums include 1997’s Lustra, 2001’s People Are Expensive and 2004’s Gravity Pulls. A best-of compilation was released in 2002 called I Can’t Imagine The World Without Me.
In 2008 a new best-of (simply entitled The Best Of Echobelly) has been released by SonyBMG while the band is working on new material.

If you're looking for their 4th and 5th albums for less than 90 quid (if you're living in the UK, you'll know what I mean) hop over to amazon.com and search, I got People Are Expensive for about 18 quid, and just ordered Gravity Pulls for about 12. Really happy with People Are Expensive - outstanding. Really chilled!

For those that don't know, "I Seek Identity" is the new album name. It WAS going to be under a new band name of "Calm Of Zero" but they have decided to keep it as Echobelly. There are two song previews available of the website of the produced: Jono Buchanan. Just search Calm of Zero on google. The songs sounds good, particularly Mind Over Matter. I took the liberty of updating Echobelly's Wikipedia page with this information! Hopefully I haven't done anything illegal!
