Also, it was September when I heard it, just as summer was ending. The song talks about that... "Slow crashing tides" -- I was going to Hawaii (family vacation), and I'd be at the beach listening to the waves crash... I was also trying to get over someone. Does it get any more fitting than that? I love that song!
