Biography

There is more than one artist with this name. One is a Swedish glam metal band, and another is a raw Detroit garage punk band fronted by ex-Negative Approach singer John Brannon.

1) Easy Action is a Swedish glam metal band which was formed in Stockholm in 1983. After releasing two albums, Easy Action split up in 1986, when their guitarist Kee Marcello quit the band and joined another Swedish band, Europe.

Easy Action reunited for a gig at the Sweden Rock Festival in 2006. In late 2007, the band’s debut album finally saw release on CD. To celebrate this, the band did several additional shows in Sweden, including opening for Twisted Sister for 2 dates.

In April 2008, Easy Action went into the studio to record a brand new studio album. Producing the album is Chris Laney, who is also in the band Zan Clan with Easy Action singer Zinny J. Zan.

    The Swedish Easy Action was actually reformed in 1983 so they are actually the same band as the one started in 1981.
