They were to the late 70s what The Temptations had been to the early 70s. Amazing vocals and vibe.

Yes drehdloc, this 'is' a piece of work. I perform it on keyboards while singing as much of the lead and background vocals as time allows. Of course, welcoming anyone to join in to help on the vamp's 'ba-daaaaas'. Remember when Rockie Robins covered it in 1979? Haven't heard anyone try it since. Maybe someone has done it in the 'smooth jazz' genre. Never-the-less, it's one of the best encouragement songs since 'The Greatest Love of All'. But then, there was also Hall & Oats advice to 'Do what you wanna' do, but be what you Are'. And don't let the world change your mind, people.

My Everlasting love for EWF permits me to comment on anyone that doesn't like this song. A masterpiece by probably the greatest self-contained band of all times. You really don't appreciate it until you've actually had to play this song, and read the entire score. Very complicated, but well worth the results!!! Fantastic!!!

Now, now people... Everyone is entitled to their opion. I can't understand how the 2 guys that left the unfavorable comments even ended up here. Different strokes for different folks. As for me, this is some of greatist music ever made. Maurice White & EWF are musical legends.

Nicosmokah....I was thinking the same thing.....I know we all have our own opinions, but Rkdgjsah....I cannot believe you do not like this song.....Is it the words? What? Because the music is WOW! It all blends together so well. Anyway, I know there are enough 'EWF' fans that do like it so I guess it's okay! Smile!
