    This is an oddity. Pee Wee Russell is on clarinet. It's certainly not from Hine's 1930's big band. But still, a tribute to Duke from a peer.

    I assume that this must be a version by Earl Hines' band. The musicianship doesn't seem to be up to the Duke Ellington standards ..... but the track is still worth listening to. You only get a brief snatch of Earl Hines as a pianist, but keep your ears open for it. You get a real sense of how innovative he was as a pianist.
