More than just a spectacularly talented piano player, compoiser and arranger. He reinterpreted MANY compositions and made them his own. He kept on doing so for more years than most. A true father of jazz. Wonderful!!!

Always lifts me to hear Hines tackling this tune.

The track I've actually "loved" is an 8 minute effort on an album called "An evening with Earlo Hines and Nils-Bertiil Dahlander".
