Step 1: Open up whatever MP3 program you use and add every song in your collection.
Step 2: Put it on random.
Step 3: Post your favorite couple lines from the first 50 songs that play, no matter how embarassing.
Step 4: Post and let everyone guess what song and artist the lines come from.
Step 5: Cross out the songs that someone guesses correctly.
Step 6: Looking them up on Google or any other search engine is CHEATING!

    1. If I told you what it takes
    To reach the highest high,
You'd laugh and say "Nothing's that simple."
    I'm Free

    2. I've heard it said
That people come into our lives for a reason
    For Good

    3. Oh oh oh, kiss him and squeeze him tight
And find out what you wanna know
The Shoop Shoop Song (It's In His Kiss)

    4. Marching out of time
    To my own beat now
    The only way I know
    Minority

    5. She's into math and magazines,
Director's cuts and gray cell green
Armed with an eye for contradictions
    Make Out Kids

    6. I'll Kiss Your Doc Martens
Let Me Kiss Your Doc Martens
  • Eagles - Live

Let's start by establishing that the Eagles are my all-time favourite band. I started listening to my father's copies of Hell Freezes Over and Actual Miles and loved both of them with the exception of that one track on Actual Miles, Garden Of Allah, which really sucks, but that's a story for another day.

I later went on to get the two disc The Very Best Of (disc 1) and enjoyed all of it. In fact, being quite particular with my music, I was amazed that I could sit and listen to both compilations for the full 80 minutes without ever feeling the need to skip a track. Maybe Midnight Flyer and Hole in the World one or two times, but I swear that's it. (I'm linking you to all of my least favourite Eagles and Henley songs...)

Anyway, from there I bought Desperado, Hotel California and "The Long Run", which Last doesn't have for some reason. I also picked up the DVDs for "Hell Freezes Over" and their new "Farewell 1 Tour" for my dad and I to watch.
