Biography
Evie grew up in Poland and moved to London, UK with her family at the age of 14. Growing up in a musical family was a major factor in the start of Evie’s musical career as her house was filled with the sounds of great artists such as George Michael, Seal, and Lisa Stansfield. Two years after moving to London, her creativity began to flourish and she began taking music seriously. Her amazing journey began when she was just 16 years old.
“I always wanted to sing and song-writing came so naturally to me”.
In 2005 Evie signed a deal with Italian publisher “Head Music” for her single “I Belong To You”.
Between modeling shoots with some of the finest photographers in the business (Piotr Sikora, Agatha Pyress and Carmen Klammer, to name few), Evie shot an amazing music video to accompany her single “I Really Love You Baby” (found here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g7Cx6gqHcms. Mixed and mastered by Eryck Bry at Universal Music in New York, this stunning single has brought Evie many fans and tons of fantastic feedback on YouTube.
Evie is currently working on her debut album entitled “Different“. The title track was recorded at Metropolis Studios in London. “It really expresses who I am and the material really is different”.
A while back, Evie was involved in a terrible car accident. Doctors told Evie she would never walk again. Life for Evie after the accident was difficult, but she found therapy in writing songs which expressed the challenges she faced. Most importantly, Evie's family has always been incredibly supportive of her and she remembers especially her father, telling her: “Everything in life is possible. Never up give on your dream.”
..she has since never looked back, and will never give up on her dream.
Evie recently took time out from production of her next album to work on Rankin Live and was thrilled to be photographed by Rankin himself.
