In 2008 E.K. Wimmer ended Veduta and released the full length album What was once Veduta is now found under his own name. What was once Veduta is now found is a selection of tracks recorded between 2005-2008. In addition to his solo work, Wimmer co-created the post-punk/glam side project Maps & Mapping with his wife Maria Rose. Maps & Mapping have released two singles (Time 2008, Radiation Love 2008). He’s also scored six short films, directed seven music videos and is a noted photographer/painter.
E.K. Wimmer released his second solo album, The Invisible Audience, on Oct. 27th, 2009.
