Biography

dulci was born in a small town in westrn pennsylvania to two musicians. she studied music in college then moved to new york city.

she bought a guitar and started writing lyrics in 2005. after writing a few songs, she went through the process of getting a bank loan to record a demo…getting approval from the bank and setting things up with a studio, dulci stopped everything and decided that her music wasn’t quite ready.

she set off with $1,000 U.S. Dollars and started to travel the World. traveling to and living on hawaii, new Zealand, and fiji dulci then moved to australia where she and her two traveling buddies (shane and jason) all formed the band ‘now you see them’. playing pubs and public holiday gatherings throughout sydney now you see them formed a fan base by throwing candy, slamming pints, and rocking the ‘sweaty, beer-soaked, party music’ genre.

any chance of more australian now you see them shows abruptly ended when dulci found herself being surprisingly deported back the u.s.

back in NYC now, dulci has filled a couple of notebooks with lyrics, played two reunion shows with now you see them, debuted ‘milky way’ at an open mic in front of a completely naked man (except for tube socks…on his feet), and has started something called the fancy pants project…

…more to come.

just saw your recommendation to check out now you see them and am digging you guys! i moved to CT from Asheville a few years ago...so the regional tie caught my heartstrings, and the sound caught my ear. only heard a couple of tracks at this point, but I'm going to get the album and having my brother come to one of the charleston area shows on the 20th or 21st on my behalf. thanks for the self-promotion...it landed well!

Hi, just stumbled across your page and thought you might be interested in a site me and some people are working on www.accessallbands.com, it's basically just a new networking and marketing site for bands, musicians and producers and it's getting a lot of positive interest both sides of the continent. Might be worth sticking a profile up :) Register if it takes your fancy or if you've got any questions get back to me.

Is that a kazoo on polyamorous?! I love it! Catchy melody, and the vocals wraps around it very well.

interesting voice (somewhat "oldie") blended with some good good acoustic indie folk (or whatever one would call it).. great work! question: why the same song (not completely the same, but obviously the same one) goes by two diff names on diff albums - another day (work in progress) and guitar (the truth as i know it)?
