    @pollydunlop: Duke and his orchestra recorded many versions. The first version was from the very early thirites (1930 or '31). You can hear that one on his collected Okeh Recordings, or The Columbia Years retrospective.

    Something has gone wrong with the attributions. What I'm hearing is one of the slower, smoochier works from Duke. What it isn't is the up-temp Rockin in Rhythm, which I would recognise anywhere. I'll need to poke around to see if the original is up there anywhere.
