  • all I got this time was a cleaned-up version of those 27 choruses, you NEED the diminuendo and crescendo either side of it for it to be the right shape.
  • Is this the most exciting piece of music ever recorded? not only do you get the mythical 27-chorus blowout from Paul Gonsalves, but the crescendo that follows is overwhelming as the tension and excitement is ramped up, and up, and up. Just when you think it can't get any more intense, it does. absolutely magical piece
  • This masterful jam will kick the shit out of any depressive funk you ever get yourself into. Paul Gonsalves' tenor sax solo goes way, way beyond extraordinary; it runs on some crazy adrenaline mixture of joy and inspiration. It's the most exhilarating thing I've ever heard.
  • I have an original 45 live at newport with this on it and it actually is a little better live.
  • Dig that cat on the sax
  • My heads arockin
  • Yeah
  • Tell me your toes aint wigglin
  • You won't ever hear a drummer keeping time like on this track.
