Who gives a hell what it sounds like? Sounds like music to me, personally.

Interesting topic. I wouldn't say it reminds me of either Drake or Eitzel that you ask about but there is something there I just can't put my finger on it. More country than either Drake or Eitzel though. Thank you for inviting me for a listen.

Like pretty much everyone else who's written, it sounds alot like chris isaacs. God knows who compared you to Bonnie Prince Billy, Bonnie Prince Billy is american roots music which is usually quite a stripped down sound.

Doesn't sound like Damien Rice at all. Maybe Chris Isaac and Buckley in a way.

More Jurado than Rice in terms of Damiens, although I wouldn't really use either. I'm not much of one for comparisons, & nothing strikes me as similar off the top of my head. Yr not bad though.

Reminds me of Damien Jurado, and Jeff Buckley a little.

Hi thanks for the msg, i agree with a few of the other posts about your sound being more country than alt-country. i couldn't hear any DMB in there at all (although it could just be that song) and you do have more of an affinity with chris isaac than damien jurado. definitely not on the same page as Elliott Smith either. All the same its your sound and its a good one so keep it up.

thanks for yr tip, sounds not bad. frankly speaking i dont like comparisons to other authors/interpretes/singersongwriters, but this time really i feel something quite original. really like it, let me check you more.)

the vibrato voice absolutely kills me, just seems forced and artifical

I agree with PaulGaryT - It's far too sunny to be compared to Smith or Jurado.

Thanks for the recommendation - I actually thought this was more like Chris Isaak that Elliott Smith or Damien Jurado. You have an excellent voice, but for my tastes, it was a little more "country" than "alt-country".
