Forming in early October 2004, Drive-By Argument were an Ayrshire based quintet fusing guitars, synthesizers, keyboards and both acoustic and electronic drums to form their dance-rock sound.
As of 23rd February 2008, Drive-By Argument broke up with a message on their myspace confirming the split.
However, on the 24th February a new project emerged on Drive-By Argument’s home page ‘Atlas Skye’ http://www.last.fm/music/Atlas+Skye. All of the previous members from Drive-By Argument are now a part of this new project. http://www.myspace.com/atlasskye

Their first release through One Records was ‘Sex Lines Are Expensive Comedy’, which received a very positive response. It’s B-Side was ‘Eye Fish, Star Fish Eye’.

They released a 7 inch single “The Sega Method” and made a 2007 appearance at the Download and Rockness festivals in summer.

Their next single “Sex Lines Are Expensive Comedy” was released through Lizard King Records on June 11th. This release was followed by the Beta EP, (even if it was only sold at their live shows) which the staple song ‘Left, Left, Walk Forward, Get On The Dragon’ got a respectable amount of airplay, especially on Kerrang! Radio.

Their self-titled debut album was released in May 2008 through Lizard King Records.
