Drew Stephenson is a York-based singer songwriter signed to The SOUP label. He was born in the UK but grew up in various countries in southern and eastern Africa before studying engineering in Edinburgh. Whilst in Scotland he teamed up with Frank Shek and started writing songs primarily on acoustic guitars.
Following stints in Norwich and Amsterdam Drew settled in York where he has been writing and playing regularly for the last 6 years.
His live show currently includes a cellist/backing vocalist and he describes his songs as being either about death, the break-up of one-sided relationships or monkeys.
His discography is currently limited to a single, 5-track EP, “Digging for Bones”
