you shouldnt forget that they recorded this during a soundcheck, and i have to say, James really did great on this song, if you want awful, listen to him when he performs live!

Dream Theater are great with covers, but they can't write a decent original song to save their lives.

"wonderful cover...strange pick out of the Maiden catalog, but thats what I like about it ;)" What is strange? That they picked one of the good songs instead of a overrated one?

Me encanta esta version del clasico de Iron Maiden, son unos maestros haciendo versiones de grandes bandas del metal.

Very ordinary vocals but the electric sitar (zitar) has done the trick! I feel this is one of the most under-rated songs by Maiden. I wish they would perform this more in their concerts.

The best Maiden cover of all time imo. James LaBrie is a great singer! [2]

LaBrie's voice doesn't suit songs with fast vocals, still sounds awesome though=)

LaBrie could've done better. No, he couldn't have delivered vocals as well as Dickinson, but still. He's a much better singer than he is in this track.

Such a shame the vocals ruin it.

Rather tepid IMHO. Granted I'm not really a DT fan, and this is one of my fav songs by one of my favorite groups. But the music sounds mostly identical save for the middle eastern elements amped up. And the singer can't hold a candle to Dickinson. What's the point?

Holy shit, I was really looking forward to hearing this after seeing they did a cover of one of my favourite Maiden songs...butchered it! I did not expect this from DT
