The first time I actually heard this song was before a Dream Theater concert in Toronto. They were playing the Dream Theater Orchestra over the P.A., and this came on. At the time, I'd only given Infinity a brief listen over. Sounds amazing.

This is a song that revels in the uncanny balance between simplicity and technical prowess. The song itself isn't the musical tempest most Dream Theater instrumentals are, but it still retains that must-be-a-professional-musician vibe that characterize every one of their songs. Beautifully put together, extremely melodic and absolutely timeless. Long live the prog-metal kings.

Some people say this is album is too pop. I disagree: my 3 favourite songs are from this album: Hell`s Kitchen , Lines In The Sand and Trial Of tears. This song is amazing. Derek makes the best keyboards of DT`s history!!!
