  • "The band I feel most guilty for liking". LOL, do people feel guilty for liking...music?
  • the best power metal band
  • @Isaaaaaak Sorry about your brain, even more stupid as it gets.
  • Under the Grey Banner is one of my most beloved power metal albums. Epic band!
  • The best band with "Dragon" in the name.
  • underrated
  • Starfall was recommended to me a few years ago on The Metal Archives, long before I got a last.fm account. Though I don't really listen to metal any more, Dragonland remains my go to power metal band. Starfall and and Holy War are both wonderful.
  • @Isaaaaaak Your comment is absolutely putrid, moron.
  • <3 them and dragonforce :D
  • Absolutely putrid. Why does this genre exist? This is as metal as Fleetwood Mac.
  • The trilogy of "The Old House on the Hill" - one of the best instrumentals ever.

  • JOURNEY INTO FAR AWAY AND TO FORGOTTEN LANDS
  • Jonas Heidgert has a beautiful voice! \m/
  • After having listened to Under the Grey Banner, I have to say that Jonas Heidgert is now definitely one of my favourite power metal singers. I found his voice a bit annoying when I discovered Dragonland a few years ago, but he really improved and now I love his vocals very much, especially on the last two albums.
  • Buy а Guitar!!! http://www.zeekler.com/auctioninfo.asp?auction=52523&UserName=beekler77
  • Under the Grey Banner works so well. Gotta love albums with a theme and story.
  • The Trials of Mount Farnor... what a goddamn piece of awesome music!
  • Well, I listened to Dragonland quite fairly at the moment and I can say I like the band. I mean, their later two albums are simply amazing. Contact, Cassiopeia, Fire and Brimstone, The Black Mare, The Trials of Mount Farnor, etc; all of them are memorable tracks of power metal. The earlier albums are good, but not as good as the later ones, IMHO.
  • I'll be honest. I didn't heard Dragonland enough times to be sure if it's a band I like. But, DAMN, Contact is one of the best Power Metal tracks I heard in a long time! I'll keep listening to see if Dragonland grows on me. I hope so.
  • Now that I've listened to Under the Grey Banner a bit more (and most times passively as well) I have to take back my previous mentions of the best and worst songs of the album. It more like feels a complete work without such things as individual tracks. It's like a coherent opera with its repeating theme melodies. Awesome album -- some of the best power metal in years! :) @Believe: Amaranthe is like the worst possible mix of (euro)pop and this Swedish heavy/power metal, so, no. -___- (I know I'm pretty much alone with this opinion, but even their songs are HORRIBLE compared to, say, Abba, E-type, Dragonland or Sabaton. Plus every musician feels like a goddamn stereotype of their respective genres! :P NOTHING unique there except the poor idea to put those 2-4 genres together, and with pretty bad songs and awful overpoduction.)
  • I'm passively listening to the album, and even through passive listening I'm hearing a LOT of awesome shit I don't hear in lots of power metal bands today. Can't wait to really listen through Under The Grey Banner.
  • In case you guys didn't know, the guitarist for this band is also the guitarist for a band called Amaranthe. I'm trying to get a larger power metal presence there so if you could tag them as Power Metal I would appreciate it : ) http://www.last.fm/music/Amaranthe?ac=amaranthe
  • They carry a big spirit!
