Dj Dr_UPs aka Mc Ignat Gorazd is a member of Värka Kru. Värka Kru are Latvian born jungalists, promoters/producers of ragga jungle culture events, as well as all kind of positive electronic bass music. Providing masses with quality selection and parties since 1997. Ignat, DJ, MC, started his public music activity in 1996 as a sound fx man, spicing up the live concerts, performances and djs sets. His music production experiments are based on a live sound decay and deconstructions mixed up in a various proportions. Recorded alone and in a cooperation with various background and disciplines collaborators has brought up to live some sound works as “Sun Rays In A Space” and “Who Are You?”, “Chuska Meli Slepjas Zale”, “Lec Why Nelec” to name a few. Recently, Ignat enjoying playing with different styles of music, mixed up from variety of media. Music from roots and culture reggae to modern minimal electronic, dub, experimental to schraunz, tekno and breakcore. Beign a Värka’s MC, Ignat Gorazd has originated “Riggamuffin” style, which have similarities to Raggamuffin style and named so by the name of his native city - Riga. Ignat Gorazd along with the Värka Crew stands for non-commercial underground scene, Rigalize movemant, education and practice in a consciousness, environmentally friendly, healthy lifestyle. At the moment, he are based in North London.
