swing band from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Dr. Zoot is a 7 piece horn-driven, neo-swing band, capable of entertaining all age groups. Since the band formed in early 1998, their popularity has been growing with leaps and bounds on the East Coast and nationally. Their distinctive sound maintains a contemporary feel, while reaching back across the years to link with the greats who have come before them.
In one set alone, the audience will be treated to the Jitterbug, Fox-trot, Mambo, Cha Cha and more. The band’s repetoire includes over 20 original compositions and countless covers, all swung to perfection.
