British composer Stephen Baysted is currently best known for his composition and innovative sound design for a string of award winning video games. In 2009 he was nominated for two Motion Picture Sound Editor’s Golden Reel Awards and a Game Audio Network Guild Award for his work on Electronic Arts’ Need for Speed: Shift.

Stephen recently completed work on the soundtrack and audio direction of Electronic Arts’ latest racing game: Shift 2 Unleashed, a Need for Speed title.

Stephen is Director of Music and Sound for London based game developer Slightly Mad Studios and over the past decade he has built up an enviable profile in the industry.

With Brett-Dempsey Music, Stephen has scored over 30 cinema, television and radio advertisements, including notable campaigns for Budweiser, McDonalds and Pizza Hut.
